Up until now, the coronavirus origin isn’t exactly known. Some think it comes from bats while others believe that it comes from Pangolins.

However, it is known that in order for the virus to survive, it had to mutate. It became stronger when it got into a new host like humans.

According to some scientists, they discovered that the coronavirus originated from bats. They found many bats sold in Chinese wet markets.

To further prove their hypothesis, researchers traveled to the countryside setting field labs and taking swabs from bats. The researchers came up with the following that bats carry coronavirus similar to SARS.

It turns out that coronavirus has been evolving with bats for centuries but because bats have a strong immune system they carried the virus without it affecting them badly.

However, when the virus leaped to any other species such as pangolins or humans, the result can be really dangerous and can cause what we see today from mild to severe cases of coronavirus in people.

The virus may jump to people after they have come in contact with the bats or when bats transmitted the virus to pangolins spreading further the virus.
