But then, energized by adrenaline and her love for animals, she hoisted the poor dog on her shoulders. She was mentally ready for what was going to be an extremely difficult hike back to find help for the dog.

Luckily, Tia does have a bit of a sports background and was well-suited for the job. She used to be a gymnast, which means she had her fair share of intensive exercise in her life. But nothing could’ve prepared her for the 6-hour hike with a 55-pound dog on her shoulders.
When she finally reached the village, she rushed the dog to the vet.

The owners said that pooch – who we now know is called Boomer – fell off a 100-foot cliff after he slipped on a snow crevice. They’ve seen him roll for a couple of hundred feed more and thought there was no way that he could survive the impact. Luckily, Boomer proved them wrong.
