The Holiday season can be tough on some of us. You often have a lot to do and your mind starts going places, and before you know it, you are in an existential crisis wondering if you’re wasting your life away.
It looks like this can be true for pets, too, as was the case of the dog the hero of this story.
Lauren Carter, the dog’s mom, tweeted an image of her two dogs from a professional portrait session. The image quickly went viral with more than 766,000 likes and 181K shares!
In the photo, you can see her two dogs, but they are having completely different reactions to the whole holidays’ thing. One of the dogs is really enjoying their time, and the other one is clearly having an existential crisis.
Mika, the dog in question, is wearing a jaunty hat and a jingle bell collar, but the look on her face is that of deep thought with hints of depression. The dog is staring into the distance in a way that really says a lot.
Of course, Twitter being Twitter, the tweet inspired countless memes.

All I have to say is that it’s okay, Mika. It happens to the best of us, some times life is just too hard.
