The world is increasingly becoming a worse place. It’s as if people all over the world are becoming less kind with every passing day.

One blind man had to discover this truth for himself in a bad way when he was not able to get a seat on a crowded train.

 30-year-old Jonathan Attenborough was traveling from Edinburgh’s Haymarket station to Perth, guided by his guide dog, Sam.

According to reports, He was seen onto the train with the help of a ScotRail staff member, however, they were unable to guide him to a priority seat because the train was quite jammed with people

But he thought to himself, hey that’s fine, people are always kind enough to give him a seat when they see someone in need of one. Unfortunately, this is where his trust in the goodness of people betrayed him.

He was surprised at first that no one offered to take his hand and guide him to a seat or even offered up his seat for him. He still thought the best of people and asked the people on the train if anyone could direct him towards an available seat.

He was met with complete silence.

Dishearted, he had no other choice but to endure the remaining of his train trip standing beside the train door with his dog by his side.
