An 8-year-old girl called Landyn Wadsworth has earned her spot on Santa’s nice list by helping the poor animals at the Tri-Cities Animal Shelter in Pasco, Washington.

Instead of asking for toys, she asked for money to buy pet food for Christmas. She was able to collect more than 600 pounds of pet food to donate to the shelter’s dogs and cats.

She was pictured by the side of her generous donation, which was larger than her!

The shelter proudly posted the picture of Landryn next to the cart full of pet food. The stack is taller with her, and that’s not even counting the sack that was on the ground and not on the cart. The sack was also full of supplies for the animals.

Landryn has been doing this for three years in a row now, which she started after visiting the shelter in 2016. The first time she has visited the shelter, she was so sad to discover so many animals that had no homes.

This year’s donations have been a pleasant surprise, but she is already collecting donations for next year.
