During the past few months, Australia has been tormented by extreme natural disasters. From destructive fires to flash floods, the Australian citizens, animals, and nature have suffered a lot.

No one is going to forget the Kolas and other animals crying in pain.

The fires have been devastating for Australia’s wildlife and wild places, as massive areas of native bushland, forests and parks have been scorched,” says Stuart Blanch, who is an environmental scientist. He is with the World Wildlife Fund in Australia.

It is estimated that 30% of the koala population may be dead. Koalas are now considered to be vulnerable to extinction, which means that they are one step above from being endangered.

If you want to help save the animals affected by the fires in Australia, then consider donating to Australia’s RSPCA ( Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

There is some good news, though. Mother earth is slowly, yet surely beginning to recover as new plants are emerging. Here are some beautiful photos of Australia’s land coming back to life.

In the next photo, we can see a couple of Kangaroos posing for the camera with green and red leaves, giving them hope that their land is going to be restored soon.

It turns out that mother nature indeed knows how to heal herself!
