Lola, the Houston dog, and another 14 mixed pit bulls were saved, approximately five months ago, from an alleged dogfighting ring after being found deserted and chained up with a metal chain to a tree in a wooded area. According to officials with the Houston Humane Society (HHS).
The 15 rescued dogs, unfortunately, was found tired, sick, with fleas and skin infections. In another word, they were in terrible condition as a result of the severe abuse they have been through.
