An 18-year-old teen put the family’s 3-month-old puppy in the clothes dryer and left the poor dog there to die in pain.
According to news, Jeremy Lindsey, the 18-year old teen, was picked up from school earlier that day because he claimed that he was not feeling well. By that time, he was left with the dog alone, because the parents had to be somewhere else.
The moment his mother returned home, he informed her that the dog had passed away. “The dog was all scraped up as if it had been hit by a car”. The Mom said after they had to bury the puppy’s body in the yard.
But, fortunately, the truth came out, when the mom had to do laundry in the evening and she was shocked when she saw blood and hair all over the dryer. She didn’t know what to do, so she called the police.
“I had to do it because he was being mean to the cat.” That was Lindsey’s response when questioned by the officers.
According to the news, the criminal was charged with a level 6 felonies which is usually from six months to two and a half years, and a Class A misdemeanor which is up to one year in jail.
