Just like we don’t want to get and die from the novel Coronavirus, animals like dogs and cats don’t want to suffer in small cages and get skinned alive and killed for food consumption!
There is an online petition that is urging the World Health Organization, also known as WHO, to shut down all live-animal meat markets and wet markets that are renowned for breeding deadly diseases.
This petition has already received over 100,000 signatures, but the more signatures this petition has, the better!
The petition was created after the novel coronavirus breakout occurred. COVID 19 is believed to have started in a wet market in Wuhan, China.
Although the breakout only started back in December 2019, it has already spread to almost all countries and killed more than 69,000 people at the time of writing.
Although wet markets were shut down amid the pandemic, wet markets in China have already re-opened as the number of people infected with COVID-19 has already immensely decreased.
Thankfully, one city in China, Shenzhen, became the first city in China to ban the consumption of wildlife and dog meat! However, we need the other cities to take the same action as well!
