A US Air Force sergeant gave his two dogs a special homecoming surprise Monday morning.

Staff Sergeant Matthew Books was stationed in the Middle East for the last 10 months. This is a long time, and his family missed him dearly during this time, especially his two golden retrievers.

The family decided to make it a surprise for the Golden Retrievers and it was the sweetest thing ever.

He returned to his home in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania Monday around 3 a.m. Monday.

When Books got home, out the front door came his two golden retrievers, Mac and Reed.

The dogs could not contain their excitement and the shower of kisses and hugs was the sweetest thing ever.

The homecoming was delayed over two months because of the coronavirus pandemic.
